The national question in Ukraine will never become aggravated to a degree that threatens the society and the state. At the same time, there was always a number of outstanding issues. On December 6, 2012, during a press conference, Fedir Negoi--the deputy of Verkhovna Rada--insulted Azerbaijanis and Georgians engaged in trade on the markets, and named them "a cancer of our state." As a result, he demonstrated his ignorance, and his hostility to business competitors of another nationality. Why do you play on the national feelings, dear deputy? Or do you cover your indiscretions in this fashion? Such statements are unacceptable from the deputy.

The founders of the public movement "Freedom Voice" support the Azerbaijani Diaspora in Ukraine in the name of H. Dzhavadov: upholding the principles of equality and international friendship of all nationalities living in Ukraine. We remind you, Mr. Deputy, that on November 1, 1991, Parliament adopted the Declaration of the Rights of Nationalities, in which Ukrainian State guarantees equal political, economic, and social rights for all ethnic groups and citizens living on its territory. Discrimination based on nationality is prohibited and punished by law.

At all times Ukraine was, is, and will be a multi-ethnic state. Ukraine is for all people who live and work within its territory!
